Calling all 11 - 18 year-olds!
Located in central Bromley, the group meet every
Saturday from 10am till 1pm. Young people, with a passion for drama,
attend performance workshops, run by our experienced tutors, take part
in end of term productions on the BLT stage and enjoy all the benefits
of being a full BLT member ...including a FREE ticket to your first show!
Q. Tell me more about
the workshops?
The Youth Group provides a relaxed fun-based
drama training in a working-theatre environment encompassing all
aspects of an actor's craft, including workshops in: acting, movement,
physical theatre, mime, improvisation, singing and voice work.
It also provides an excellent forum for making
new friends, building confidence, learning new skills and honing
performance technique.
Q. Will there be a
show at the end?
During a term, the group work towards producing a
production/showcase in order to develop and display their new-found
skills. All group members will be involved in this show, either as a
performer, or - for group members whose talents lie more in the
technical aspects of theatre - in a stage management role or helping
with lighting and sound etc.

present the best of contemporary dramas, comedies, thrillers, farces,
musical productions as well as the classics, and in recent years, BLT
has given a number of plays their premiere production in the UK.
Q. What are the
benefits of a BLT membership?
